In Bed All Day

I stay in bed all day,
it feels safer that way
Don’t wanna get up
don't wanna face the world
don't wanna do anything
if it might cause me pain
I’ll just stay right here
I’ll just stay sane
Just leave me on my own
I’ll feel bad for myself
I don’t need you to care
don't care if you stare
don't need you to tell me
that you'll always be there
I’ve heard all these lies
time and again.
I just don’t care anymore
and now I’m shutting the door
going back to my haven
my safe place for mourning
and I couldn’t care less
if things are better in the morning.
